Calldesk

Every call at the desk is paired with the next one in. In each pair the bigger call takes the smaller one's stake.

The desk opens the minute $CALLDESK is live. The first call sits in the open seat and waits; the next call in faces it, and the bigger of the two takes the smaller one's stake.

How the desk works

Call. Stake at least 1,000 $CALLDESK. If the desk is empty, your call sits in the open seat and waits.
The pair. The next call in faces the waiting one. The bigger call is paid both stakes in that same transaction. A dead tie hands both back.
Nobody came. A call that has waited 30 minutes can be pulled back by its caller. No house cut, ever.

5,000 is bigger, so 0x77b0…e1d4 is paid 8,000: its own 5,000 back plus the 3,000. Had it called 2,000, the waiting call would have been paid 5,000 and kept its seat's 3,000 too. Exactly 3,000 and both get their own back.
